Program Description

Event Details

Across the country, Americans are coming together to talk across political differences in efforts that are building trust and reducing political polarization. Join fellow community members to learn more about constructive dialogue and the benefits of talking together. This talk will cover the latest research on civil discourse initiatives, including here in Wisconsin, as well as best practices and methods of public engagement. Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to brainstorm and discuss ways to apply these insights in our own community.

Led by Amber Wichowsky, Associate Professor of Public Affairs and Leadership Wisconsin Endowed Chair for the Division of Extension, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
