Libby Wipperfurth's life changed 3,268 days ago when she faced deep depression, anxiety, and years of alcoholism. Despite having a daughter she adored, she couldn't stop drinking and felt trapped. After being kicked out of rehab, she hit rock bottom but found hope when accepted into the Oxford House, a sober living facility.
Immersing herself in recovery, she sought to understand addiction and mental health. She visualized people as structures build brick by brick - each experience shaping who they are. This perspective deepened her self-awareness and empathy.
Through gratitude journaling and self-reflection, she rebuilt her foundation. Now, she shares her journey in her memoir, Bricks, inspiring others to heal and grow.
Presented in partnership with Waunakee Community Cares Coalition.
