Join Create Waunakee for our very first WRAP-Kids event! This program provides artists ages 5-12 the opportunity to participate in a guided art project, followed by an artist’s reception and exhibition! Kids will create their version of this year’s mixed-media project “Monster’s take Madison”. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
When projects are completed, each artist will write a short statement about their work and share their piece and statement with the other artists and families as part of our post-project reception! Light refreshments will be provided, and all work will then be displayed at the Waunakee Public Library for 2 weeks.
1/3 of the projects that are created will be chosen for a State Award and go on to be displayed at the WRAP State Exhibit at the Pyle Center in Madison this Fall! This exciting opportunity for kids is supported by the Association of Wisconsin Artists (AWA) as part of their Wisconsin Regional Art Program.
